It all started with my personal hobby with japanese animation called anime. I also loved viewing other people's personal websites. They were creative and it was so amazing that you can be creative on the web. I started downloading the websites and reviewing the source code. Then I went in deeper and started changing the code around to see what each part did. I did make some of my own pages to add to the on-line world of anime. I had decided I wanted to learn more and bought my first html book. Then my imagination for code got away from from me.

Eyes On Miami Inc. ~Verison 1~ 2004-2005

Eyes On Miami Inc. Verison 1 My first large web design project was eyesonmiami.com. I was their first web designer getting their company off the ground. This is a club promoting company where they would take digital photographs at the clubs and post them up on-line for the club memebers to view. The client bought a layout template which they wanted me to use. At the end with what the client want which was a large gallery, I had to make major changes to the template that was provided to me. At the end the template did not look the same as it was first brought to me. During this time I was recommended to use Microsoft FrontPage. This software was a horrid creature to work with. It did not want to work as team. The software did what it wanted and not what I wanted to do. At the end, I had to manually code the website with my trusty Notepad. I also used Photoshop to change the design around. At the time I did not have the pleasure of the use of Dreamweaver. The website was coded in HTML and CSS. JavaScript was used from free scripting code services on-line which you would just copy and paste the code you needed. The animated gifs for the web ads on the right side of the website was designed by me and was made from a free on-line gif program.

Eyes On Miami Inc. ~Verison 2~ 2006-2007

Eyes On Miami Inc. Verison 2 I continued to be the Web Master to eyesonmiami.com. This was the second verison to this web site. The client again bought a layout template. This time they were happy with the way the design layout was set up and there was minimal design changes that needed to be done. The same concept as the verison before, which was to be a gallery. The company had just gotten Dreamweaver and wanted me to use it for their website. This was a great time for me because I have always wanted to try out dreamweaver, which I have heard wonderful things about it. The website was coded in Dreamweaver using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The flash web ads on the right side of the web site was put togther with a flash ad software the company had brought.

Party Sparks Inc. ~Verison 2~ 2005-2007

Party Sparks Inc. Verison 2 The verison 2 of partysparks.com was designed around the car mascot the owner had. He was in love with his car and wanted me to design his web site with the same color yellow theme as his car. The background logo and company name was already designed by someone else. The layout of putting both designs together was my idea. I coninued to code my work on Notepad. The web site was done in HTML. The JavaScript was provided from a free on-line source.

Between the years 2007 and 2008, my job at Ingram Micro had a more demanding schedule, due to my commitment to the company I complied with their new schedule requirements putting my web design on hold. Later that year the company laid me off due to budget cuts, providing me with the opportunity to head back to school to pursue a degree in Information Technology.

Vackert Interiors Inc. ~Verison 1~ 2009-2010

Vackert Interiors Inc. This web site is for an interior design company. I finally was able to start experimenting with more advanced features offered by Adobe Master's Suite. I decided to code the web site using Adobe Dreamweaver: XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The design work was all done in Photoshop. The idea of the design was that the client wanted her business card to match the website. The "Home" page has a flash image that was done in Adobe Flash. The web site is a working progress as we finalize the details and the designer approves them will bring it to completion. I will be adding a gallery page with css and a contact page with a php form.

Arlein Marin's Web Portfolio ~Verison 1.5~ 2010

Arlein' Web Portfolio Last but not least is my web portfolio. I had in the works a different verison of this web portfolio but my mentor recommended that I write a story of my web design career. Each page was designed differently but connected to each other through some small detail. The idea was for me to explore more on my graphic design skills. I used Netbeans to practice my code. The codes I used was HTML and CSS. The last page was a playful php page. Just an e-mail form to send information throught my web server to my e-mail. The beginning of my education in php. I had a lot of fun building this web site and I hope to build more websites like this in the future.
